Southlands Barn Wedding | Megan & Jack — Scott Howard Photography

When it comes to picturesque wedding venues, Southlands Barn in Sussex stands out as a true gem. Nestled just outside Pulborough, this enchanting location offers rustic charm and natural beauty, making it a perfect venue for your special day. In August, I had the privilege of photographing Megan & Jack’s wedding. One of the day's highlights was the intimate ceremony held within the barn. I love the soft, warm lights strung from the barn rafters, they created a radiant ambience and made for some genuinely enchanting shots. Southlands Barn has lots of fantastic opportunities for photos. Just after the wedding breakfast, I took the couple down to the lake, the sunshine reflecting off of the lake was like a giant mirror creating some beautiful bright light that looked lovely in the couple’s portraits.

"Scott was absolutely phenomenal from start to finish! He was so patient and understanding because we were nervous at first. He made the effort to include an engagement shoot in our package and that really put us at ease and we genuinely had a great time! He was completely focused on getting the correct angles and lighting and that really came through when we saw them!
